Rumors that the Stars had been offering hardnosed forward/defenseman James Pryor to Black Forrest of the German Elite League are just not true per our sources with the Stars management. Captain Steve-O VanDevanter was quoted as saying “There ain’t no freaking way we are letting him go. The Huskies got him once and that didn’t work out for us. So if we can’t have him then no one can!”. Not sure what to read in to this but Pryor has been a healthy scratch since last Sundays win over the Thrashers. Sounds fishy to me. Our phone calls and e-mails to German Mike, GM of the Black Forrest Fire, have gone unreturned.
